Shama'il of the Prophet ﷺ - Our Master Muhammad by Imam Sirajudeen al-Husseiny

A CMC Retreat organized by the Chicago Mawlid Committee in Chicago, IL in September 2012.

We embarked on this journey on September 8-9th, 2012 at the Muslim Educational Center (MEC) in Morton Grove, IL, beginning the study of the physical attributes of the Blessed Messenger ﷺ. Perhaps through this course of study we can increase our love for the Messenger of God ﷺ, who gave us the most wonderful of news: that on the Day of Reckoning, "A person will be with whom he loves."

In this retreat, Shaykh Samer Al-Nass covered some of the physical attributes of the Beloved Messenger ﷺ. We are reading from "Sayyiduna Muhammad Rasool Allah, His Sublime Character & Exalted Attributes", a book written by one of the great scholars of recent times, Imam AbdAllah Sirajudeen al-Husseiny. You can follow along with a digital Arabic copy of this text that can be found here, or you can also purchase the English translation online (titled "Our Master Muhammad" and translated by Khalid Williams).
